Be very careful when you are DELETING MODULES OR SEGMENTS.
IF YOU GET IN A HURRY AND DELETE THE WRONG MODULE YOU COULD LOSE DAYS OR WEEKS OF WORK. SO GO SLOW AND BE SURE.

Creating a course is exactly like building an outline. Many instructors build their course by brainstorming their thoughts into modules and segments. As time passes, they rearrange their thoughts and need to delete or move a module or segment.
Let's take a look at the screen shot below. It show this course with a 4th Module. I accidentally added Module 4 and need to take it out of the course. This is very easy to do.
To do this I select module 4 and then select modules on the task bar.

Then from the module drop down select "MANAGE" - The image below shows where to find these button.

This opens the window (see below) that reflects the structure of the various modules and segments in your course.
Scroll down and find the module 4 and click the garbage can (delete button) on the right side of the page.
Notice the curved arrow just in front of the garbage can. This arrow allows the instructor to move items around in the course they are working on or even to move a module or segment to an entirely different course.

Once an instructor clicks on "DELETE", a pop-up (see below) is displayed asking if they are sure they want to DELETE A MODULE.
