Uploading HOMEWORK Video

Videos (or photos) from every brand of cell phone and any operating system can be uploaded directly from the phone right into your course. 

Uploading cell phone video is a feature students will probably use more than instructors.  It is something instructors should be familiar with so they can offer advice to students who have questions (even though we have excellent student tutorials on video uploads) 

Instructors will find this feature more valuable for uploading photos right off their cell and directly into the course. Both videos and photos are uploaded the same way.

STEP 1

To upload from your phone, you will need to Login. If you're not sure how to do this go back to Module 1 Segment 3.

Once logged in you will see your picture on the INSTRUCTOR HOME PAGE.

When you see that was successful click the icon that looks like a open book. The red arrow in the image below is pointing to it.

WARNING: DO NOT click on the larger COURSES button that is next to the INSTRUCTORS button. That button will only bring up a list of all courses.

STEP 2

In this next screen you should now click on the "UNFINISHED COURSES" see image below.

STEP 3

This will bring up your list of unfinished courses. If you have been working on a number of courses that are unfinished you will need to scroll down and find the course you are working on.

In the next window click on the UPLOAD BUTTON (See the arrow)

STEP 5

This will now open a window that asks you to select the video folder on your phone.  On an Apple I-Phone the screen looks like this.

STEP 6

This will open a window (below) where you will be expected to select the Library or File that contains the video and/or photos on your phone.

STEP 7

On an I-hone will see a list oof your videos on your smart phone. On the phone below there are 76 files in the correct folder.

STEP 8

The next screen will see your videos and photos. Select the video want to upload and click on DONE.

The next screen will look like the screen below. Select your video file and click on the UPLOAD BUTTON.

STEP 10 

Placing a video is a two step process. (we are working on changin that to a one step process) . The first step uploads the video or photo into the cloud based server.

Once that is finished in step two you will place the video into the segment in your course.

The file you just uploaded is now complete and on the Leerburg web server. In the next segment you will learn how to find the file on the server and put it in the segment of your course.
