Student View of  a

CLASS HOME PAGE

Students have a CLASS HOME page. That is their landing platform for a class. (see the image below of a sample course)

Students can see who is in the class with them, they have access to their discussion forum, and they can see if there are any announcements from the instructor on the class home page.

The MANAGE TEST Tab

is in every Instructor Module

It is not seen in student classes

When you click each module of your Instructor Course, at the bottom you will see a MANAGE TEST (See image below) .

Students don't see a MANAGE TEST tab unless the instructor has initiated the TESTS in the course. (Testing is covered in later segments)

You don't see the MANAGE TEST tab in this tutorial because you're seeing the tutorial as a student. The image below is what I see as an instructor.

 STUDENT VIEW

WHAT STUDENTS SEE IN THEIR COURSE

Below is an image of what students see in a course on managing puppies. The instructor has not required any tests but she did include a WEEKLY DISCUSSION FORUM for students to ask questions.

It is the instructors option to have a DISCUSSION FORUM for each module in the course. This makes review easier than having a forum for the entire course. Adding forums to courses is covered in later Module 2.
